Baptism

Baptism Date: August 24th

- Registration for baptism is now open for parishioners and those who live within parish boundaries.
- Registration for non-parishioners with a letter of permission is open.
-Classes in English take place on August 6th, 13th, and 20th. 
-Classes in Spanish take place on August 8th, 15th, and 22nd.
-Classes are from 7pm to 8:30pm.​

​Requirements to Baptize

  1. 1. Parents of the child must be registered in the parish or live in the parish boundaries.
  2. 2. Parents who live outside of the parish area need a letter of permission from their parish.
  3. 3. To register, the parent must present the Birth Certificate (long form) of the child to be baptized.
  4. 4. Married godparents must be married in the Catholic Church.
  5. 5. If the godparent(s) are single, they must have received the sacraments of Baptism, Holy Communion, and Confirmation. Two single godparents must be male and female. 
  6. 6. Divorced Catholics may be godparents if they are living single lives.
  7. 7. The parents and godparents MUST ATTEND ALL BAPTISM PREPARATION CLASSES, or show proof of having attended Baptism classes within a three year period.
